Monica has been creating art for as long as she remembers. When I first met her more than 12 years ago, she introduced herself as an artist, even though she made her living as an event planner. As my life with her has evolved through the years, first as a couple, then a married couple, and now as parents, her art has always been a constant. From the many shows and street fests, to putting up and taking down her work from stores and landmarks, Monica is simply the "real deal."
